Pleasant DeSpain

PLEASANT DESPAIN is recognized as a pioneer of the storytelling renaissance. A former literature instructor, he received his B.A. and M.A. in English literature from the university of Southern Illinois. He is the author of five other books, including the much praised Thirty Three Multicultural Tales to Tell. After living in Seattle for more than twenty years, where he was known as "Seattle's Resident Storyteller,"
