W.K. McNeil
A native of North Carolina, W.K. McNEIL is the folklorist of the Ozark Folk Center. He earned his M.A. from the State University of New York and his Ph.D. from Indiana University. He is past president of the Ozark States Folklore Society and served as book review editor of the Journal of American Folklore for four years. He is the author of over forty articles and of two books pertaining to American folklore.
